New at Lawson Lodge this summer!

Updated: Jan 5

We've been busy getting ready for the summer holidays. With back-to-back bookings right through January and into February, now is the perfect time to book in for Summer 2025. The most incredible destination for large groups of family and friends to gather for that special occasion or holiday. We do still have Christmas 2024 available.

Our new plunge pool and spa is going well, and guests have been enjoying this great space. For evening swims, don't forget to turn on the underwater pool lights and jets. With towels, lounge chairs, there is no better place to relax on a warm summer day.

Our regulars will be excited to try out the new outdoor couches, recently set up in the alfresco. Enjoying a wine and looking out over the lake has never been so comfortable. For rainy days we've just purchased a PlayStation 4 for our cinema. Kids (and big kids) will love playing games on the big screen. We'll have a couple of games here, but feel free to bring your own collections. We have also added a table tennis table and a new BBQ to the sports bar.

In an effort to reduce single use plastic, we've made the decision to get rid of small bottles of shampoo and conditioner. We will be providing guests with the amazing Salus range of hair care, body wash, hand soap and lotion. Available in each bathroom, you'll feel like you've just walked out of a spa.

We've recently ordered a new 900mm induction oven and cooktop for the bar. This will make cooking for a large group much easier. A full bar kitchen refurb is planned for the new year when bookings get a little quieter, so stay tuned for that. For any guests that have battled with the upstairs shower screen, you'll be pleased to know a new shower has been installed in the attic bathroom.

Our conference room has enjoyed a little facelift over the spring, fresh paint, new lighting and artwork have created a really beautiful place to work. We've also upgraded our AV equipment to include video conference facilities.

Our golf greens maintenance is now being managed by Art of Grass, and I must admit, they've never looked better. We are slowly opening up some of the fairways by trimming back the trees and renovating the bunkers. We have upgraded the driveway, lined with beautiful ornamental pears, and filled the gardens with hydrangeas and lavender.

For groups looking for the ultimate relaxation experience, we definitely recommend booking a massage or facial. We have three of the most incredibly talented therapists working here. You honestly won't get a better massage anywhere in the Macedon Ranges. Our little treatment room is the perfect space to unwind and enjoy some me-time. If you are looking to enjoy some other local experiences, we have teamed up with Passing Clouds Winery and Big Tree Distillery to offer on-site wine and gin tasting.

Our three little cabins are proving popular for larger groups, with queen beds, split system air conditioning and shared Gazebo bathrooms. Super cosy and comfortable, with views out across the golf course and pool area. We plan to add another 2 in the new year. We have also added power to our glamping tents, so guests can enjoy electric blankets when the weather is cold & charge their phones if needed.

Our 3-bedroom managers cottage is also available for larger groups, and the property comfortably sleeps up to 50 guests during the warmer months.

From all of the team at Lawson Lodge, we wish all of our guests, past and future a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy holiday period. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Lodge soon.
