Self Catered Retreats
Our property is available for self-catered retreats and events, providing businesses with the freedom and flexibility to arrange catering options to suit your own budget or cater for themselves, with two kitchen and BBQ areas provided. Our self-catered stays are available for day and overnight events.
The property can accommodate 16-34 guests in single or shared rooms, utilising the Lodge (9 rooms), the Executive Suites (2 rooms), the Sleep Pods (3 rooms), the Glamping Tents (7 rooms, warm months only), the Fishing Hut (1 room) and the Managers Cottage (3 rooms).

Our Conference Rooms
Choose from three separate meeting rooms covering events of all sizes and requirements.The board room, with stunning views across the lake, seats 10-12 guests. The conference room with views of Mount Macedon accommodates up to 42 with U-shape seating or 120 with theatre seating. The cinema with a 10ft screen that seats up to 36 guests
Lawson Lodge was originally a family home, and the accommodation still holds that beautiful warmth and character. It is presented as a home, rather than a hotel, which is a great way to bring the team together and enjoy our shared spaces.
The stunning Californian Mountain Lodge is beautifully appointed, with two spacious living areas and a fully self-contained kitchen. Includes 1 king room with ensuite, 5 queen rooms, 2 king rooms, 1 attic room with single beds and 3 additional shared bathrooms.
The Executive Suites
The two Executive Suites are located in the clubhouse building and boast amazing views over the lake, with direct access to the golf course. Featuring king beds, or two twins, private ensuite facilities, heating and air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities and TV with Netflix.
The three little sleep pods are a cosy accommodation option, nestled into the bushland on the edge of the golf course. Featuring queen beds, heating and air conditioning, a veranda with seating to relax and enjoy the views and nearby access to 2 shared bathrooms and a kitchenette in the Gazebo.
The Fishing Hut
The Fishing Hut by the lake is a stunning, rustic outdoor experience. Wake up to the most beautiful views across the water, in absolute privacy. The Fishing Hut includes a queen bed, wood fire and electric heating and cooling, fridge, BBQ, fire pit, fishing rods, tea and coffee facilities, outdoor seating, a heated outdoor shower and an iconic outdoor Aussie toilet.
The Manager's Cottage
The manager'-s cottage is a gorgeous, completely off-grid, 3 bedroom cottage. Featuring 2 queen and 1 single bedroom, a large lounge and dining room with wood fire, kitchen, bathroom and fire pit. Enjoy panoramic views over Mt Macedon from the large veranda with swing chair. Access along an 800m internal property road.
Our seven Moroccan style glamping tents provide an amazing outdoor experience for your guests. Tents include queen beds, soft furnishings and rugs, tables and chairs, fans and lights, hot water bottles and mirrors. Glampers will enjoy the newly appointed gazebo with 2 shared bathrooms, kitchenette, indoor and outdoor dining spaces, BBQ, fire pit and heated spa. Available Oct-April.
Corporate Golf Retreats
Lawson Lodge features a private golf course available exclusively for our guests, perfect for company golf days, team building retreats, Christmas parties and product launches. Book your company event at our venue and enjoy use of the 9-hole course and the club house sports bar and lounge. Golf day packages can include catering, bar packages and private coaching sessions with our local golf pro are available.
Team Building Activities
The accommodation is complimented by outstanding leisure facilities that provide team-building opportunities at no additional cost. These include a 9-hole golf course, 36-seat movie cinema, sports bar with billiards and table tennis, fishing lake with kayaks, tennis court, basketball, fire pit, heated spa and lawn games, which are all available for unlimited use for you and your guests.
We also collaborate with some outstanding providers to offer a range of team building activities which can be added to your package. You are also welcome to arrange your own facilitators.
