Bridal Testimonial

Dear Staff at Lawson Lodge,
We are just writing to thank you for the incredible job you did on our wedding
in January.
First and foremost we would like to thank Chris Nicholson. It was a pleasure
dealing with someone who was always so happy and approachable. Chris would
always respond to my (numerous) emails within a day and there was no request
that was too much trouble for him. His organisational skills were exemplary and
made our wedding a breeze to plan. We also felt he really understood the vision
we had for our wedding, and did everything he could to make it happen. The
function room looked exactly as we had imagined it. He is a credit to Lawson
Lodge, and part of the reason we decided to hold our wedding there.
We would also like to thank Rob as well. On the day of our ceremony he took care
of ALL the little details and made sure everything ran smoothly. From organising
tables for the canapés to moving furniture, he really took care of us. He even
raced down to the jetty in a covered golf cart to pick us up when it started to
rain during our photographs! What a man! Many guests commented on how friendly
and professional he was.
Lastly we would like to thank the catering staff, including Renee, for the
wonderful job they did. The food tasted and looked beautiful, and the prices
were very reasonable. Our wonderful waiter Alan was so nice, our guests loved
him! We would highly recommend Renee's scrambled eggs in the morning for
breakfast; they were perfect for those of us with unsettled stomachs!
We would recommend Lawson Lodge to anyone wanting an intimate and beautiful
wedding location. The house was impeccably decorated, and extremely comfortable.
When we were planning our wedding we wanted a venue with accommodation, so we
could relax with friends and family for a few days. We also wanted somewhere
that had gorgeous gardens for the ceremony and plenty of activities for our
guests. After searching most of Melbourne for such a venue, we thought no such
venue existed until we found Lawson Lodge. Lawson Lodge exceeded our expectation
in every way! We can’t thank you all enough for making our wedding day one of
the best days of our lives!!
